Cleansing Baths: Epsom Salts


Use 1/2 to 1 cup of Epsom Salts to a full hot bath. Soak for at least 20 minutes then rinse off. You may use a bowl of warm vinegar-water to scrub off the salt, which will help to cleanse your skin and open your pores. Use 1/4 to 1/2 cup of clear vinegar to 3 cups of warm to hot water; use a good scrubbing cloth. Scrub your entire body well and then rinse off with clear water. Just keep this bowl next to your cleansing baths and apply after you have soaked for at least 20 minutes.

*Note: once you have had a few baths like this you can increase the amout of Epsom Salts by one cup more at a time until you are using a quart or more per bath. Do work up to that amount very slowly, because in these cleansing baths you are detoxing beneath your skin and bringing the toxins up to the surfice, you don't want to over do it too quickly.

CAUTION:
DO NOT STAND UP TOO QUICKLY FROM A HOT BATH, IT CAN CAUSE YOU TO FAINT.

Epsom Salts will draw out toxins and drugs, including tobacco, from your liver and kidney's, blood, and other organs. If you have never used cleansing baths after using drugs, alcohol, tobacco or after consuming toxins in our foods and water each day, it would be advisable that you take an Epsom Salts bath once a week for a while. There may be a light color to the bath water for a while but that will clear once you have cleansed your skin. There is no harm in using Epsom Salts except by taking too many baths in one day or in one week. That is why I advise only one a week.

For a quick refreshing pick me up, simply take a sponge bath with the hot vinegar water. This will open your pores and allow oxygen in through your skin and up to your brain through your blood. Try using our cleansing herb tea to drink while you are cleansing your skin for a safe and full cleansing experience. Once you have used the tea to cleanse internally you can boil the herbs and strain the water into your Epson Salt bath water. Then the herbs can be used as a mulch for your outside plants.

Cleansing Varieties

There are many methods available in both alternative and natural medicine that are designed to "detoxify the body". However, nearly all of them do exactly the opposite: They stimulate the body to release toxic byproducts stored in fat, organs, and other tissues. The result is that these substances are dumped back into the active metabolism. The body, then, is placed under a great deal of toxic stress, even to the point of toxic shock.

This poses quite a problem, for the body has stored these substances for a very specific reason: It has been incapable of eliminating the substances without causing signficant damage. Therefore, the short cut "quick fix" methods to detoxify the body can actually be quite dangerous, and the natural and comprehensive methods can require alot of attention, hard work, and anywhere from six months to three years to accomplish, and are often accompanied by uncomfortable symptoms as the body cleans itself.

You must be aware of the caution needed whenever doing any internal cleanse even if you are only using lemon juice to cleanse with. If you are not careful as to what you use as well as understanding exactly how to use a cleansing product, you can cause an overload of toxins to be released into your bloodstream that can cause you to hallucinate. If you intend to do any internal cleanse other than the one we make at Simpli Essential, you must have a help mate keeping watch over you. Here are some other simple ways of cleansing externally:

  1. Run a bath with very warm to hot water being sure not to make the water too hot. Mix in 1/4 to 1 cup of Epsom Salts [if you have a larger body size you may need to increase this amount to 2 or more cups of Salts. Simply test each bath to see which amount works best for you. Immerse your entire body even your head, not your face, in this solution for at least 20 minutes. Be sure to be very cautious when you are standing up as hot water can cause oxygen depletion from your brain causing you to black out. You can use a scrub cloth to scrub your skin from head to toe to remove all the dead skin and impurities accumulated above and below the skin. You will then want to rinse off with warm vinegar water which is one part vinegar to 3 parts warm water. Just use the cloth to wash off the salt water then rinse off again in a shower with warm water. After this you can wrap in a bathrobe and lie down for a half hour or so to let your body rest. This is a truly refreshing way to cleanse your skin and open your pores to let some oxygen in. This will also remove toxins from under the surface of your skin and hair. It removes quite a lot of the remnants of stuff that has not been able to be released through your elimination system. If you have ever taken a drug, even those prescribed by doctors, there are lingering particles that never leave your body. It is so vital to our good health to cleanse at lease twice a year and more if you are currently ill or become ill easily. Once you have cleansed, your bodies immune system will be better able to fight off any illnesses even the most deadly. Our bodies are quite resistant if we allow them to do their jobs by giving them all the right tools and by practicing more healthful behavior to ensure a joy filled life.

  2. For a quick external cleanse just use the vinegar water then wash and rinse (see above).

  3. Water itself is a cleanser, so bathing or drinking lots of water will help to cleanse both externally and internally.

  4. If you have an acne problem it is because you have a lot of toxins trying to be released. A good scrub cloth and lots of water taken internally will help reduce the acne as well as following all of the above information. Scrubbing the skin with a good abrasive is not going to harm your skin and in fact will help to keep all those tiny little bumps on your arms, legs and face down while allowing lots of oxygen to penetrate your pores. Do use reason when choosing a scrub cloth, a hand held loofa sponge is best.

Fever

Dilute one part Vinegar to two parts water. Make sure the person with the fever is well covered. Rub the person down with this mixture being sure that the water stays warm. This will cause the fever to break right away. If the fever should continue, just rub the body down again. Always making sure the water mixture is warm and the body is well covered. This is safe for children as well.

You would want to break a fever if the person has convulsions or has dry heaves and is causing damage to their body such as stressing the ribs or other body parts.

My daughter had convulsions when she was very young so I used this for her and it helped her greatly. She is now 18 and no longer has adverse effects when she has a fever.

Garlic

Garlic is one of the most loved tools in all healing. I use it best this way.

  1. You can cut a small piece and mince it with your fingernail then rub it on the arches of the feet of anyone who is over tired or not feeling well.

  2. I like to juice a large batch of garlic and then put the pulp and juice together in a covered container, add some lemon juice and olive oil and mix well. I can keep this in the fridge for a very long time. I will use a knife to pick up some juice and rub the arches of my feet or someone else's feet. What this does is it takes the garlic directly into the blood stream and boosts the immune system. I use it even for a quick pick-me-up when I didn't get enough sleep and I need to be refreshed. Garlic thins the blood so the oxygen will reach your brain quickly and revive you.

  3. Take two or three cloves of garlic, minced and cover them with three to five cups of water then simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Strain and drink this water. You can do this as often as you like. The garlic cloves can be eaten or used in a recipe.

For young children be careful not to over do it. Rub some olive oil or our body lotion on the child's skin first to prevent skin irritation. This is the most natural and safe way to bring the body into perfect health. As for the garlic water use only as long as you can see that it is not irritating the child's stomach.

NOTE: Garlic is a blood thinner so if you have low blood pressure you should talk to your health practitioner before using this technique or any other program.

Cough Syrup

Cut up one onion and 2 or more garlic cloves, minced. Put them in a glass or steel pot and cover with honey. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Let cool and strain out the onion and garlic pieces. The onion and garlic can be eaten or used in a meal. Very tasty!

To Use: Use one tablespoon for an adult and one teaspoon for a child as needed. It sooths the cough and helps you sleep. This can be kept in a container in the fridge for 3 or more months. Just throw it away when you can tell it is no longer any good. For a tasty usage make a cup of hot water and blend a tablespoon or two into the water and drink. If you like, add some lemon to taste. This is very good for chest colds.

NOTE: if you over cook this recipe and it hardens when you put it into the fridge, just keep it in a covered container in a cabinet. It will keep for a long time this way too.

Honey Tips

Beauty:

Honey has the natural ability to attract and retain moisture and is an important factor in beauty products because of its ability to maintain softness, suppleness and elasticity.

  1. Relax with a honey bath: Add 1/4 cup honey to your bath water for a fragrant, silky bath.

  2. Keep your hair healthy with a Hair Shine: Stir 1 tsp. of honey into 4 cups of warm water. After shampooing, pour the honey mixture through hair. Do not rinse. Dry as normal.

  3. Hair Conditioner: Mix 1/2 cup honey with 1/4 cup olive oil. (For normal to oily hair, use only 2 tablespoons oil.) Using a small amount at a time, work mixture through hair until coated. Cover hair with a shower cap and leave on 30 minutes. Remove shower cap and shampoo well. Rinse. Dry as normal.

  4. Honey helps clear up acne without drying your skin! Use Soothing Skin Clarifier to help clear up minor acne: Mix 1/2 cup warm water with 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Using a cotton ball, apply the mixture directly to the blemish. Maintain pressure with the cotton ball for several minutes. This softens the blemish. Then, using a cotton swab, dab honey on the blemish and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

  5. Keep your skin smooth with Smoothing Skin Lotion: Mix 1 teaspoon honey with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub into hands, elbows, heels and anywhere that feels dry. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with water.

  6. Protect your the skin from sun damage by eating honey and using Smoothing Skin Lotion.

  7. Make your own Honey Cleansing Scrub. Mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 2 tablespoons finely ground almonds and 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice. Rub gently onto face. Rinse off with warm water.

  8. Keep your skin looking young with the Honey Firming Face Mask: whisk together 1 tablespoon honey, 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon glycerin (available at drug and beauty stores) and enough flour to form a paste (approximately 1/4 cup). Smooth over face and throat. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
  9. Facial Toner: In blender, puree 1 tablespoon honey with a peeled, cored apple. Smooth over face; leave on 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

  10. Moisture Mask: Mix 2 tablespoons honey with 2 teaspoons milk. Smooth over face and throat. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Cooking:

  1. Reduce the liquid in a recipe by 1/4 cup for each cup of Honey you use.

  2. Replace sugar with honey: Simply substitute honey, cup for cup, in place of sugar. As a rule, reduce the liquid by a quarter cup for every cup of honey used. In baked goods add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda for every cup of honey used and bake at a temperature of 25 degrees lower than instructions call for. In cookie recipes using eggs and no additional liquid, increase the flour by 2 tablespoons per cup of honey, or enough flour to give the desired consistency. Chill before shaping and baking.

  3. For every cup of honey used in a recipe, increase the baking soda by 1/2 teaspoon.

  4. Reduce the oven temperature by 25 degrees F to prevent over browning.

  5. Use honey when brewing beer for a great tasting, light beer.

  6. When baking cookies and scones, use honey to help reduce crumbling.

  7. For easy measuring coat the measuring utensil with vegetable oil or nonstick cooking spray before you measure the honey.

  8. To freeze sliced or crushed fruits for the winter, use one part strained honey to 4 or 5 parts fruit. For whole fruits, add one cup of water to every 2 cups of honey. Use just enough of the diluted honey to cover the fruit.

  9. Add honey to fresh fruit or fruit salads. Honey's acidic nature prevents fruit from turning brown. Use light-flavored honey so it doesn't mask the fruit flavor.

  10. Make your own honey butter spread. Beat together 1/2 cup margarine or butter and 1/3 cup of honey until smooth (about 3 or 4 minutes) and you have honey butter spread. Beelicious!

  11. To glaze meat, such as ham or turkey, turn the oven temperature to 225 degrees F and baste with honey every 10 to 15 minutes during the last hour of baking.

  12. Add honey, one teaspoon at a time, to foods that are too spicy or too salty, such as chili. Honey will tame down the spices while enhancing the flavor; and you won't notice the sweetness.

  15. Use honey as a topping on ice cream, pureed fruit or on meat.

  16. For a sweet, shiny glaze on your dessert, mix honey with melted butter and drizzle over angel food cake or pound cake.

  17. Need a topping for cupcakes or a carrot cake? Soften an 8 oz. package of cream cheese and mix with 1/4 cup of honey and a pinch of salt. Cream until smooth.

  18. Brush honey on warm baked goods for a sweet shiny glaze.

  19. Combine equal parts Dijon-style mustard and honey. Spread on sandwiches, use as a dip for vegetables and pretzels, or brush on grilled meat and sausages.

  20. Drizzle honey over pancakes or cornbread.

  21. Sweeten your barbecue sauce by adding 2 tbsp honey into prepared sauce. Add more to suit your taste.

  22. Granulation does not affect the taste or purity of honey. Honey never spoils. It may be used granulated or restored to a liquid. To re-liquefy honey place the open glass or can container (never plastic) in a pan of hot water until all crystals melt.

Medicine:

  1. When eaten daily, pure honey will reduce your bodies susceptibility to infections.

  2. Many doctors recommend equal parts of honey, lemon and Whiskey as an extremely effective cough syrup. (Note: to remove the alcohol in the whiskey simply warm it and let the alcohol dissipate. We never want to give a child any alcohol. It is hard on the internal organs.

  3. Because of honey's fructose content, many claim it is a cure for a hangover.

  4. Sore throats: Swallowing a teaspoon of honey may soothe a sore throat or cough.

  5. Boost your daily supply of antioxidants by eating honey.

  6. If you're feeling tired and need a boost of energy, stir a spoonful of honey into a glass of water or add honey and fresh fruit to Yogurt for a power-packed snack!

  7. Honey is a great source of vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin B6, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin and pantothenic acid.

  8. Honey is a great source of energy! For a quick pick-me-up stir a spoonful of honey into your morning juice or afternoon yogurt.

  9. Sweeten your coffee or tea with honey.

  10.  Drizzle honey on your favorite cereal.

  11. Make a peanut butter and honey sandwich.

  12. Dip apple slices and other fresh fruit in honey.

  13. Eat a spoonful of honey before your morning jog or exercise routine.

  14. To replenish energy and fluids, stir a spoonful of honey into a glass of water.

  15. Spread honey on toasted bread, bagels or English muffins.

Household:

  1. Make beeswax candles.

  2. You can make Peanut Butter Play dough out of regular kitchen Ingredients. Take 1-cup smooth peanut butter, 1/2-cup honey and 2 cups Nonfat Dry Milk. Mix together the peanut butter and honey first. Add half of the dry milk and mix; then continue to add a little at a time until it feels soft & playful! Use less than 2 cups of dry milk if the clay seems to be getting dry. And, YES, YOU CAN EAT IT!

Also, it is not good to go to bed on a full stomach because if your digestive system is not able to digest the food before lying down it will ferment [rot] in your stomach and intestines and cause a alcohol like toxin to flow through your blood system. This can cause you to be or have the feelings of being drunk and cause your brain functions to be slow and unclear. So even if you have never touched alcohol a day in your entire life, you are creating an alcohol toxin to run through your blood by not letting your body eliminate before resting. The best thing to do if you need to eat later in the day is to eat lots of fresh fruit because it digests quickly and you can eliminate before going to sleep.

Waking refreshed in the morning can be an invigorating experience and one that you will desire to continue experiencing. Persons of any age can feel the difference from getting a great nights sleep or a poor one. So take some time out to look at your daily habits and see where you can make some simple long lasting and life changing changes. You will be glad you put this knowledge into action.

I must interject something here because I am a vegetarian. It has been proven time and time again that if we will stick to the natural diet given to humanity in the first week of Creation, humanity would not be suffering all these diseases and dieting so early or having to die because of such horrible diseases. When we eat animal and animal by products and then cook our foods we loose the ability to be healthy. Our bodies have to convert the acids and enzymes in our stomachs to digest what we are putting in, but if we will Eat raw fresh organic foods straight from our gardens which is the highest quality food we could eat, our bodies are able to absorb all the fresh living nutrients and enzymes that they need to be in perfect health in body and mind, so get as close as you can to this type of diet and you will realize the opportunity to live a longer healthier life and lifestyle.

Children raised on vegetarian diets not only live longer but also grow taller, their bodies mature later, keep their teeth and hair longer, and are stronger, having clearer thinking as well as having extremely high IQ's.

So for all those out there that like to "poo poo" on vegetarians just remember we are not only healthier but we're going to live a whole lot longer than those of you who eat an American standard diet will and we will do it with great style, grace, and with an incredible intellect.

Because we truly are designed as herbivores but because we practice diets that are designed for carnivores our bodies can't provide all that we need to stay in great shape in body and mind. More and more people are learning these truths and are making small adjustments everyday in the hopes of not just living longer lives but to live better lives as well.

Sage Tea

The herb sage will reduce or stop all together strokes. Simply drink sage tea often. To make a cup or a pot simply use one teaspoon of herb for every one 8oz cup of hot water. Cover cup or pot and let sit for at least 5 minutes longer if you like it strong. If you need to add a sweetener do so it won't affect the medicinal use of this tea.

Sage is also good for poor gums or abscesses, canker sores, Tonsillitis, Strep or sore throat and more. Simply follow above tea info, then rinse and gargle often.

10 Health Laws

#1 Pure Air: Fresh Air, allows lots of Oxygen to enter our brain and blood. In an Oxygenated environment diseases cannot thrive and lots of Oxygen in our brain allows us the ability to think clearly. With all the stuff that is added to our food and water supply today our minds can no longer think clearly for all the toxins running through our bloodlines. You can also use products that are full of Chlorophyll, such as green leafy foods and sea greens. And now you can use a wonderful product called: E3Live. Look in our product pages. #2 Sunlight: Sunlight, takes all the bad cholesterol and turns it into good vitamins our skin needs.

#3 Temperance: Temperance, by controlling our passions and emotions we create a clam environment for our bodies and mind to be restful at all times, as well as an environment for our Elohim (The Creator of all that exists) to speak to our heart

#4 Rest: Rest, is very important to our health. We need at least 6 to 8 hours of sound sleep daily. There are natural chemicals in our brains that are released around 12PM, but if we are awake, over exerting ourselves and not in a deep sleep we miss this release and loose out on all the health benefits these elements provide.

#5 Exercise: Exercise, we are all learning about the health benefits that a good exercise program provides. Today we know that even just walking in place for at least 20 minutes a day can give us nearly all the exercise we could possibly need. That’s great news for those of us that are limited either by time, space or any other limitations. As for anyone that is so limited that even walking in place is impossible, you can always move whatever you can move even if that means simply tightening your muscles and releasing them. Just do this, as often as you can. This is a tension and release form of exercise. Just do it slowly and you will gain the same benefits as if you just came out of a swimming pool or off a bike ride. Stretching and breathing into the abdomen can be very beneficial to your health as well.

#6 Proper Diet: Proper Diet, this seams to be the hardest for most of us. But again keep it simple and you won’t become overwhelmed. The best plan is the one you will stick too. Breakfast should consist of grains and fruit’s, you can add nuts and seeds as well. Lunch should not be eaten until 5 hours later and should consist of greens, legumes, beans, nuts, seeds, soy patties and such. Then if you really believe you need to eat a dinner or supper, which your last meal should be eaten no later than 6PM, should consist of fruit’s. That’s right, want your pie and eat it too? Yes this is the time to eat those wonderful deserts, consisting only of fruit type foods that you’ve wanted but felt you couldn’t because of all the calories. Just be wise in how you prepare them, but fruits digest very easily so you can go to bed on any empty stomach. Not wise to go to bed while you are trying to digest your last meal. This causes fermentation to occur which filters into your blood system and can cause you to be and feel drunk or groggy, as if you hadn’t gotten very much sleep. Adding nutritional supplements

#7 Use of Water: Use of Water, we loose around 10-8oz glasses of fluid daily, so it is only wise to replace it daily. Everyone needs to do this including children. We need it even more so in the hotter months. You can work up to this by simply starting to drink an extra 8oz cup of fresh water each day and just increase it as you go. This too will cut down on having to run to the bathroom often until your system has become accustomed to the extra intake of water. Continue to increase until you are drinking at least 10 -8oz cups of water daily. Be more cautious with children, their size will determine the daily increase needed. Usually a child’s dose is half the dose of an adult’s.

#8 Trust in Divine Power: Trust in Divine Power, this of course is determined by our own beliefs.

#9 Benevolence: Benevolence, “All this I did show you, by labouring like this, that you ought to help the weak. And remember the words of the Master Yahoshua, (spoken of in Catholicism as Jesus) that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35. “Favour and peace be increased to you in the knowledge of Elohim and of Yahoshua our Master, as His Mighty-like power has given to us all we need for life and reverence, through the knowledge of Him who called us to esteem and uprightness. Through these there have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these you might be partakers of the Mighty-like nature, having escaped from the corruption in the world, caused by lust. And for this reason do your utmost to add to your belief uprightness, to uprightness knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control endurance, to endurance reverence, to reverence brotherly affection, and to brotherly affection love. For if these are in you and increase, they cause you to be neither inactive nor without fruit in the knowledge of our Master Yahoshua Messiah. 2Peter 2-8.

#10 Gratitude: Gratitude, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in all circumstances give thanks, for this is the desire of Elohim in Messiah Yahoshua for you. 1Thessalonians 5:16-18.

ACID REFLUX

This is a really bad experience, which can wake you up from a deep sleep or just gag you with a terrible burning in your throat. Acid Reflux is your bodies way of telling you there is not enough acid in your stomach to digest protein. Why is this happing? Because your body does not have enough probiotic's or living enzymes.

There is another aspect to the lack of good probiotic's. Mycoplasma and viral infections may cause blood cells to stick together. Called cold algination. Sticky clumps of red blood cells cause problems. Oxygen and nutrients can’t get to cells efficiently when red blood cells are clumped up. The cells get stuck in small capillaries and clog them up. Seriously reducing oxygenation to cells.

Taking a good quality enzyme-probiotic high in protease and lipase on an empty stomach will work to unstick those red blood cells within a short period of time. So take digestive enzymes between meals and with meals. They help take a strain off the immune system because fewer partially digested food particles will enter the bloodstream.

When you can’t digest food completely, partially digested food can make its way into the bloodstream. This is especially true if you have a candida infection that is eating holes in your intestinal walls, thereby allowing even more partially digested food to enter the bloodstream. Enzymes between meals may help clean up this mess.

Here are simple ways to help your body with acid reflux.

Try making some anise tea, mix some thyme in too. You can make one cup at a time or a whole pot, which is the way I do it. The anise will assist your digestive system, which will move the back up that is causing some of the acid. The thyme will clear out your limp nodes and other glands, which is your body’s first defense against whatever may be going on in your body.

Now onto the acid. If you eat a large carrot or some papaya fresh or dried either of these will balance the acids in your stomach. Also you can juice 3 carrots or make some lemon juice again both of these will also balance the acids. If you find you are still having trouble simply combine any combination of the above, i.e. carrot and papaya, or anise and thyme tea with some lemon, or lemon juice and carrot juice, etc. See what works best for you and do it as often as you need too.

I find if I have a cup or two of the anise and thyme tea my stomach and intestines feel really good, enough so that I will not need to use anything else unless I mixed to many foods and drinks during the day and in this case I will add something else in order to insure I will be able to sleep through the night with no interruptions.

I for one prefer to use foods or natures remedies in place of over the counter meds or prescribed meds which have side effects and can rob your body of important nutrients. If you are using any meds for acid reflux it would be wise of you to add Paradophilus to your diet. Paradophilus replaces the living enzimes in your intestinal track while assisting your immune system. E3-Live adds living enzimes as well while adding many of the nutriants we no longer can find in our foods as well as the oxigyn we are missing because of the poor environment we are now having to live in and the depleted and altered foods we are forced to eat today.
